Srinagar, Sep 18 (KNO): A woman died while her husband was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle at Umerabad HMT near Noora Hospital in Srinagar on Thursday evening, officials said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a husband-wife duo, residents of Umerabad HMT, was hit by a speeding vehicle while they were crossing the road. He said both the injured were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment, where the woman succumbed to her injuries. The duo was identified as Fahmeeda (50), wife of Bashir Ahmad, and Bashir Ahmad (55). Moreover, police have taken cognisance of the incident—(KNO)
